A Pyplan application is specifically developed to address a distinct problem, leveraging the platform's various functionalities. Pyplan enables the creation of diverse tools tailored for, but not limited to:
Teams are designated by system administrators, and access permissions are ascribed by the "Department" a user is aligned with. A user can belong to multiple "Departments".
The Application Manager allows users to navigate, organize, and manage the applications available. It provides tools not only for accessing applications and folders, but also for creating, importing, organizing, and performing actions based on access permissions.
Application Manager facilitates navigation through user-accessible applications mosaic, allowing users to:
Create new applications or folder
Import an applications
Show hidden folders (if user has access)
Manage user applictions and folders
Manage Teams applications and folders
Manage Public applictions and folders
Browse through accessible applications
Users can create both applications and application folders from within the Application Manager.
To create a new application or folder, click on the “Create” button and choose between:
Create App: Creates a fresh, empty application that can later be edited.
New Folder: Creates a container folder where multiple applications or subfolders can be grouped together.
If the option to create a new folder is selected, a dialog will open to enter the name of the new folder. The location of the new folder will be determined by the current tab at the time of creation, plus the path of any folder if the user is currently inside one.
This same method of path assignment is used when creating applications.
The following actions can be performed on applications:
Open as read-only: Allows opening the application in read-only mode, meaning no modifications can be made to the application.
Open application in new instance: Allows opening the application in a new instance, which is useful for working in parallel with different applications or versions of the same application.
Select version and open app: Allows selecting a specific version of the application and opening it. This is useful for accessing earlier or specific versions of the application.
Select resources and open app: Allows selecting specific resources of the application and opening it. This is useful for working with specific resources different from those assigned by the department.
Rename

Cut
Other copy options: Allows copying the application to another location or creating a duplicate of the application in a new location.
Set thumbnail: Allows setting a custom thumbnail for the application.
Remove thumbnail: Allows removing the custom thumbnail from the application.
The user can move applications and folders within any path they have access to. The following example shows how an application contained inside a folder can be moved to the IT team.
